Using the Space
Is Semester quiet?
Yes. We aim to keep noise at a library-level quiet. Loud conversations and distractions are avoided so everyone can stay focused.
Can I take calls or meetings?
Calls and meetings aren’t allowed in the main space. This helps maintain a calm, distraction-free environment for everyone.
How long can I stay?
You can stay for the full duration of your session or membership time. Repeated or long hours use of space to sleep isn’t allowed.
What’s included during my session?
Your session includes a seat, high-speed Wi-Fi, power access, and free-flow refreshments for the entire time you’re checked in.

What is Semester ?
Semester is a 24/7 study and work space designed to help students and professionals focus. It’s a calm environment for deep work, with occasional events and hangouts that make it easy to meet people offline.
Do I need to book in advance?
Walk-ins are welcome. You can purchase an hourly pass or a bundle when you arrive. Members can check in anytime without booking, though reservations are available if you prefer to plan ahead.
Is Semester open 24/7?
Yes. Semester is open 24/7, so you can work whenever it fits your schedule, day or night.
Pricing & Membership
How does hourly pricing work?
You pay by the hour for access to the space. Once you’re checked in, you’re free to focus without any pressure to order additional items.
What’s the most common option people choose?
Daytime workers usually choose the Focus Bundle, while late-night workers often prefer the Night Owl Bundle.
Do unused hours carry over to the next sessions?
Unused hours only carry over for standard hourly passes. Bundle hours do not carry over.
Events & Hangouts
What’s the difference between events and hangouts?
Hangouts are casual gatherings, mainly for customers already using the space at the time. They still require sign-ups and have limited spots, but are free to join with no additional cost.
Events are ticketed sessions that require sign-ups, use the entire space, and accommodate a larger number of people.
How often do events and hangouts happen?
Hangouts happen on Tuesdays. Events take place on Sundays, with two sessions from 10:00–11:30 AM and 12:00–1:30 PM.
Do I need to sign up for Events & Hangouts?
Yes. Events & Hangouts require registration, as spaces are limited.
Can I use the quiet space during an event or hangout?
Yes during hangouts. If an event is happening, the space is generally unavailable unless the event takes place outdoors.
Who can join Events & Hangouts?
Events are open to the public and available to anyone with a ticket. Hangouts are intended for high school students and above.
